// HOW TO PLAY
1. Main Menu
Select a save slot and start a run. Open Settings to change language, sound, music, resolution behavior,
and key settings.
2. Battle
Combat runs automatically. The beholder fires basic attacks while equipped skills cast on cooldown.
Use manual fire when you need direct pressure on a target. Watch HP, gold, souls, kills, damage, critical hits,
wave timing, and boss pressure.
3. Card Draws
Draw cards during the run to gain new skills, supports, and upgrades. Choose between the offered cards,
then equip immediately or store cards for later use.
4. Skill Deck and Storage
Equip skills into your deck and use storage to manage unused cards. Skills are automatically sorted by rarity
in the equipped deck, and stored cards can be filtered by type, element, delivery, rarity, or name.
5. Support Eyes
Equip support eyes around the beholder. Support eyes fire their own basic attacks and can echo skills that match
their element, adding more pressure as your build grows.
6. Soul Tree
Spend earned souls on permanent upgrades. Improve HP, basic attacks, skill damage, economy, elements,
delivery types, tags, and targeting-related bonuses to make future runs stronger.
7. Defeat and Restart
If the beholder falls, the run ends and your persistent soul progress remains in the selected save slot.
Use the next run to build a stronger deck and push farther.
// TIPS
- Use early card draws to secure at least one reliable damage skill.
- Mix projectile, area, beam, chain, and burst skills instead of relying on one delivery type.
- Support eyes become stronger when they match the elements in your equipped skill deck.
- Use the DPS overlay to find which skills are actually carrying your run.
- Invest souls into both damage and economy so future runs scale faster.
- Chain lightning targets nearby enemies and bounces through clustered ships.
// CONTROLS
- Mouse / touch: menus and manual fire
- D: draw cards
- U: Soul Tree
- S: storage
- P: DPS overlay
- Q / Esc: close or back
