// WHAT YOU DO

Start a new descent, recruit a four-hero party, clear dungeon stages, return to town, upgrade your team, and continue from checkpoints. The game is built around steady party growth, loot decisions, skill planning, and long-term dungeon progression.

// HOW TO PLAY

1. Main Menu
Choose New Descent to start a new run. Choose Load Game if you already have a save. Open Settings to change language, audio volume, or game speed.

2. Recruitment
Pick four mercenaries to form your party. Each hero has different stat tendencies and becomes stronger through combat, equipment, skills, and upgrades. Try to build a balanced group instead of choosing only one stat type.

3. Dungeon Combat
Combat progresses automatically, but your build decisions matter. Heroes attack, use equipped skills, defeat monsters, gain gold, and collect loot. Stronger enemies, rare monsters, bosses, and later floors require better equipment and skill planning.

4. Town
Town is your preparation hub. Use Enter Dungeon, Arcane Shop, Inventory, Forge, Skill Menu, Skill Book, Hero Stats, Achievements, Leaderboard, Save / Load, Restore Checkpoint, and Settings to manage the run.

5. Inventory and Equipment
Loot is a major part of Arcana Descent. Compare stats, equip items to the right hero, favorite important gear, and sell or filter weak items to keep your inventory clean.

6. Skills
Buy and upgrade skill scrolls, then equip skills from the Skill Menu. Each hero has limited skill slots, so choose skills that match their stats and party role.

// TIPS

• Build a balanced party before entering deeper floors.
• Do not ignore equipment. Gear can matter as much as hero levels.
• Check Skill Menu after buying or upgrading skills.
• Use favorites to protect important items from accidental selling.
• Return to town when your party needs recovery or upgrades.
• Boss stages are build checks. Prepare before pushing forward.
